How the visit works
Whichever part of Vaughan you are coming from, the process at the counter is the same. Your pieces are inspected under a loupe for karat stamps and maker's marks, acid tested to confirm purity, sorted into karat groups and weighed on a scale you can read. Every deduction is named out loud.
The evaluation is free and carries no obligation. If you accept the figure, your ID is recorded as Ontario second-hand dealer rules require and you are paid in cash the same visit. If you would rather think about it, the number does not expire.
